Modern technologies have enabled researchers and scientists to actually see and monitor the brain activity of individuals as they engage with learning tasks.  (Ever wonder if typing activates the same neural pathways as handwriting?  Spoiler alert: It doesn't!)  We are entering into a new era where breakthroughs in neuroscience have very real implications for our understanding of the learning brain, and for the practical strategies we implement with our students.

The articles and posts below explore and discuss the educational implications of modern neuroscience.  If you're looking for more, check out our suite of online professional development, which includes a focus on neuroscience and student engagement!
